Scrapyard of the Long War
Ready to readAfter six thousand years of war between Mars colonists and the colonists of Jupiter's moons, Earth has stayed neutral, refusing to fight because its technology gives it an unfair advantage. A young Mars colonist working as a salvager among the battle wreckage finds a heavily reinforced, Earth-labeled box. Forbidden as it is, he opens it and finds a small tablet-like device that boots up with the words 'loading Lupa' — the name of the ASI that nearly wiped out humanity before the wars began.
